Rules of Battle

Okay, there are a few rules here if you want to participate in the Forest Forums League.

Standard Rules
Throughout these boards, there is a standard that is expected of all members to follow.
1. No swearing.
2. No sexual content.
3. Mockery or flaming of other members is not allowed.
4. Admins and Mods are to be treated with respect.
If you don't follow these rules then your account will be suspended for two days.

Membership
* Everybody is free to join and challenge the League! That being said, there are two other points to make:
* Admin and Mod status is given out by invitation only. Invitations are given out to members we know well as well as those who rise to Champion status.
* When you register, please allow up to 24 hours for one of the Admins to activate your account.

Challenging
* A minimum of 8 Badges must be won before the Elite Four can be challenged.
* Any Pokemon may be used, with any item being held. The only restriction is that NO LEGENDARIES MAY BE USED BY EITHER OPPONENT AT ANY TIME.
* To challenge a Gym Leader or one of the Elite Four, select one from this board and send them a PM specifying when you'd like to challenge them.
* The Leader/Elite will reply and give you a date and time at which they will be in the Nintendo WiFi Club.
* At the designated time and date, you battle.
* If you win, then the Leader/Elite PMs this fact to one of the Admins, who will add it to the Hall of Fame.
* If you lose, you cannot challenge that person again for a minimum of three days.

Pokemon To Be Used
* Gym Leaders must have at least three Pokemon on their Team corresponding to their requested Gym Type. We don't want people going up against a grass-type Gym Leader, only to find mostly fire-type Pokemon being used.
* The Elite Four have no type restrictions.
* NOBODY MAY USE LEGENDARIES AT ANY TIME.
* Any moves are allowed, as are any items.
* Gym Leaders and the Elite Four are to use the Pokemon specified on their Trainer's Card. If the team is to be reorganised, then a new card must be created or requested and an Admin notified.
* Challengers are free to use whatever Pokemon they wish, with the exception of Legendaries.

Ehem..... I have one small correction. Champions are allowed up to 2 Legendary Pokemon in their team. The Elite can have up to one legendary. And the elite must have 5 pokemon in their team.
